Randy Crowder that, if approved by voters, would grant authority to all counties and municipalities to impose a tax on retail sales of gasoline and special fuel to enhance infrastructure.     CLOVIS — Clovis’ newest restaurant is set to open Sunday. Denny’s plans a 6 p.m. opening at 4400 Prince Street, with a grand opening celebration to be held in February.     CLOVIS — A Clovis man was convicted Wednesday afternoon of trafficking a controlled substance, according to a news release from the district attorney’s office. Sentencing is pending for Devin Branch, 32, in connection to a December 2015 arrest. He faces up to 10 years in prison, which includes a one-year enhancement for a prior felony conviction.
