    Repairs to a ruptured natural gas line in Portales were completed as of 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to a New Mexico Gas Company official. The pipe was broken at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on Boston Avenue, which led Portales police to evacuate four homes and a daycare center as a precautionary measure.     The Roosevelt County Commission met in a work session Wednesday in the county courthouse to discuss the possibility of building a new Magistrate Court complex. Judge Linda Short and Ruth Dygert of Magistrate Court were present at the meeting. County Clerk Janet Collins said the county would pay for the building and lease it to the courts.     PNT staff reports A 14-year-old Roosevelt County boy was arrested Sunday in connection with an auto burglary consistent with 12 other auto burglaries that occurred in the last few days, according to Portales Police. The boy was charged with one count of auto burglary, a fourth-degree felony, and resisting and evading an officer, a misdemeanor. He was released to his parents.     James Buchanan, 70, of Lubbock was in serious but stable condition at a Lubbock hospital Saturday after his three-wheeled motorcycle left the road and crashed through a fence in Roosevelt County, according to Sheriff Darren Hooker. The crash happened about 5:30 p.m. Friday on New Mexico 202 near Portales. Buchanan was the only person riding the vehicle.     Fire burned an estimated 2,596 acres Sunday afternoon at Roosevelt Road 35 and Highway 206 near Milnesand, but was contained on Roosevelt Road 35 within half a mile of Roosevelt Road M. “Our main concern was keeping it from Road 33 because there were two structures over there,” said Milnesand Fire Chief John Mohon.     Peanut acreage in the Portales valley is down, but prices are high, a local grower has said. Portales valley stretches from Floyd to Arch.
