    The Portales city swimming pool should reopen Wednesday pending the approval from the state health department, according to Public Works Director John DeSha. The pool was odered closed Friday by the state health department after it was confirmed a child with an infectious disease swam there about a week ago. State health officials will inspect the disinfectant levels in the water today, making sure the city followed proper procedure.     The New Mexico Daughters of the American Revolution Society designed a quilt for New Mexico's centennial representing the 19 chapters in the state.     At a special meeting for the Roosevelt County Commission Tuesday, commissioners approved a resolution limiting the sale and use of fireworks within the county. Portales Fire Department Chief Gary Nuckols said according to state statute, counties and municipalities have the authority to ban all aerial devices and ground-audible devices.     The trial of a Portales teen charged with murder last April has been postponed from Monday until September. Erick Pina, 17, and two other men were arrested last year in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Jose Alfredo Charize Montoya of Portales. Alberto Ramirez, 18, and Jorge Quinonez, 22, were also charged in the murder of Montoya. Quinonez' trial is set for Oct. 1. Ramirez' trial date has not been set yet.
