No serious injuries in accident

A multiple vehicle accident near Prince and Fourth streets didn’t result in any serious injuries, according to officials with the Clovis Fire Department.

Two ambulances were called to the scene, but not concurrently, said Battalion Chief Joel Gershon.

The first ambulance was called out at 2:14 p.m. and arrived at 2:23 p.m., but left a few minutes later after the approximate half-dozen people declined treatment.

Another ambulance was called out at 3 p.m., Gershon said, when one person changed their mind. That person were taken to Plains Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, and the ambulance returned to the station at 3:44 p.m.
