Logan woman dies in accident

LOGAN — A Logan woman died Saturday night in a single vehicle rollover accident on State Route 469 near Logan, according to a New Mexico State Police spokesman, Sgt. Chad Pierce.

The victim was Tonie Martinez, 51.

Pierce said Martinez was traveling north on State Road 469 around 10 p.m. Saturday when her vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Martinez died at the scene.

Pierce said Monday the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
