KENW airing scamming special

KENW-TV will host Scam Alert, a Consumer Protection Special, on Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. The one hour-long special will be a live call-in program, which will allow viewers the opportunity to call the studio with direct questions to a panel of experts on the subject of scams.

Panel members will consist of a New Mexico Attorney General’s Office representative, a district attorney prosecutor, a bank representative and a local police deputy chief.

Scam Alert addresses identity theft, investment scams, telephone solicitors, computer e-mails and more.
