Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
Around 6 a.m. April 3 an officer assisting with a traffic stop in the area of First and Connelly observed a young male fall while he was walking and attempting to step onto a curb.
The officer made contact with the youth, discovering he was 15 and smelled strongly of alcohol.
The teen would not tell the officer where he had been or with who and the officer noted he began acting aggressively toward officers.
The teen was handcuffed and transported to the police station where his mother came to pick him up.
He was given citations for allowing himself to be served alcohol and assault on a police officer.

About 11 p.m. April 3 an officer on patrol in the 1800 block of East 14th Street saw a man urinating on the ground.
When the officer activated his lights the man walked away.
The officer continued trying to get the man to stop until he finally approached the patrol unit.
He was arrested for indecent exposure and resisting or evading an officer.

Around 3 p.m. April 4 an officer responded to a business in the 2700 block of Mabry Drive for theft report.
A manager told the officer at some time in the three days prior someone had stolen a projector from the ceiling in the conference room.
The officer noted a table had been pulled beneath where the projector had been and wires had been pulled through the ceiling so it could be removed.
The projector was valued around $600.

About 10 a.m. April 7 an officer responded to sports complex in the 2000 block of Mitchell Street for a report of a burglary.
A city employee told the officer he had been checking on a building that serves as a concession stand and noticed a hole in the ceiling.
He said he also found shoe scuff marks on the roof.
The man said he could not tell if anything had been taken until the person who runs the concession stand could be contacted, but said it would cost about $1,500 to repair the roof.
