Chandler, King only state AG candidates

Incumbent Gary King and Clovis native Matt Chandler were the only candidates to file Tuesday for the New Mexico Attorney General’s office.
Nominating petitions were filed for the primary election, making official the races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and other state positions.
Chandler, 34, is a Republican and two-term 9th District Attorney.
The deadline for write-in primary election candidates is March 9.
