Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Around 7 p.m. Sept. 27 an officer responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Gidding Street for a report of indecent exposure.

Two women told the officer a naked man came out of a nearby apartment and masturbated in front of them then went back inside his residence.

The officer went to the man’s residence and the 28-year-old answered the door naked.

After the man put on some pants, he was transported to the jail.

About noon Sept. 27 an officer responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Chaparral for a burglary report.

A man said he went to lunch and when he returned home his door had been pried open and four handguns stolen.

The officer documented the damage to the door and noted nothing else had been taken from the home.

Around 7 p.m. Sept. 28 an officer responded to the emergency room at Plains Regional Medical center for a report of a battery.

A man with a laceration on his forearm said he was attacked while visiting his daughter at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.

He said he was about to enter her apartment when a man approached and swung at him.

He said he punched the man and he fell and when he got to his feet, he swung at him with a knife.

The man told the officer he did not want to press charges if the suspect was located.

About 7 a.m. Sept. 29 an officer responded to the area of west Manana for a report of a vehicle crash.

A woman said she was driving her children to school and heard shattering glass and then saw glass flying around the inside of her vehicle.

The woman said she initially thought someone had crashed into her vehicle until she realized her son had been hit in the head with a drinking glass thrown through the window.

The officer found pieces of the glass, a promotional item from a local fast food restaurant, and collected the shards as evidence.

Ambulance treated the children for minor cuts received from the broken glass.
