Rollover injures Clovis man

A Clovis man was transported to Roosevelt General Hospital shortly before 5 p.m. Monday after being involved in a one-vehicle rollover.

The accident occurred in front of the Midway Convention Center on U.S. 70 when the northbound Chrysler New Yorker left the roadway on the right side. Roosevelt County Sheriff Darren Hooker said the vehicle traveled through the ditch until it hit a concrete culvert causing it to roll several times.

Hooker said deputies cut the man loose from his seatbelt but his injuries appeared to be minor.
