Candidate signs reported stolen

A Curry County Commission candidate said more than $250 worth of campaign signs have been stolen from various locations throughout the community.

In a police report filed May 21, Gloria Wicker told police more than 25 of her campaign signs were taken from locations where she placed them three days earlier.

A Democrat, Wicker is vying for the District 4 commission seat.

Wicker said she is concerned the removal of her signs will diminish her exposure and affect her chances in the election.
