Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Around 9 a.m. Dec. 7 an officer received a call from a parent of a high school student claiming her daughter had been assaulted during gym class. The officer spoke with the girl, who said another female student had pulled her pants down. The officer plans to issue a juvenile citation for assault.

About 10 a.m. Dec. 7 a police officer took a phone report of larceny. A woman said on Nov. 29 her truck had been parked at the mall and someone had stolen the lug nuts from a wheel. She said she attempted to drive to the parts store and the lug broke, causing damage to the wheel. The case is active.

Around 9 a.m. Friday an officer took a report from the assistant principal at a junior high school in the 1600 block of Main Street about two students who had gone off school grounds behind a business to fight. The officer is seeking warrants for public affray.

About 1:30 a.m. Sunday an officer was called to a bar in the 2200 block of Prince Street for a minor allowing herself to be served. An employee at the bar said a girl used identification to enter the bar and ordered a beer. The woman said she asked again for identification and the photo on the ID did not match the girl. Police spoke with the girl who said the ID belonged to a friend. The 18-year-old was arrested.
