    Penny Wars end Student council sponsor Sara Bulls and Principal Steve Harris took more than 360 pounds of pennies, coins, and paper money to the bank last Friday. Tuesday the bank returned the final count of $1,213.62. The seventh grade collected a total of $665.96 with $260.41 in pennies. The official penny wars rules were that paper and silver money deduct the number of pennies. That left the seventh grade with a negative $145.14.     Freedom New Mexico A 24-year-old Clovis man was sentenced Friday to 13 years in prison for child molestation, according to the district attorney’s office. Nathaniel Allen Steward pleaded guilty Thursday to charges of criminal sexual penetration of a minor and two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor, court records show.
