    A Clovis man is off to prison for 15 years after being convicted of a number of charges that began with a night of drinking, according to a news release from Ninth Judicial District Attorney, Quentin Ray. The charges were the result of Fidel Sanchez, 26, drinking with a female he knew, according to Ray.     A Clovis man was sentenced to 364 days in the Department of Corrections for his involvement in a fight at the Curry County Adult Detention Center.     Clovis’ animal control department is reporting a distemper outbreak in the city. The city’s animal shelter is responding to the outbreak according to a news release from Clovis Police Chief Roy Rice.
