Clovis man sentenced in jail fight

A Clovis man was sentenced to 364 days in the Department of Corrections for his involvement in a fight at the Curry County Adult Detention Center.

Gunner Wynn, 27, also received an additional sentence of four years for possessing a firearm after he was arrested for concealing his identity and Clovis Police Department officers found a .22 revolver in the vehicle he was driving according to a news release from Ninth Judicial District Attorney Quentin Ray.

Wynn was represented by Criminal Defense Attorney, Mitch Mender of Clovis. The News left a voicemail requesting comment from Mender that was not answered.
