    BERNALILLO – The Melrose girls basketball team looked as if it was in trouble during the first half Friday, but it wore down To'hajiilee, outscoring the Lady Warriors by 20 points in the second half en route to a 50-35 victory.     The National Weather Service is predicting snow and slippery road conditions starting late Thursday night and lasting through late Friday morning. Curry and Roosevelt counties both have a better than 70% chance of snow, starting about 11 p.m. Thursday. Wind gusts higher than 30 mph are expected to accompany the flurries, along with freezing temperatures.
