A “key to the city” will be handed out Thursday evening at the regular session of the Clovis city commission.
On the agenda is a key to the city presentation for 27 Special Operations Wing Command Chief Master Sgt. Kristina Montgomery.
Keys to the city have also been presented recently to retiring medical professional Albert Kwan and former Cannon Air Force Base Wing Commander Col. Terence Taylor.
The meeting will be preceded by an executive session at 4:45 p.m. in which the commission will deal with “pending or threatened litigation.”
Other items on the agenda include a fee waiver for Hillcrest Park Zoo and the splash pad at Hillcrest Park for Sunday’s Juneteenth celebration.
The meeting is set to begin after the executive session at approximately 5:15 p.m. in the North Annex of the Clovis-Carver Public Library at Seventh and Main streets in Clovis.
