Local arrested again on criminal sex charges

A Roosevelt County man arrested more than a month ago and accused of child molestation was arrested again this week for similar charges due to more victims being identified, according to Roosevelt County Sheriff Malin Parker.

Marco Nunez, 37, was arrested Friday and released the following day on a $50,000 bond.

In April, Nunez was arrested and charged with felony criminal sexual penetration of a child under 13 as well as two counts of felony criminal sexual contact with a minor under 13.

He was arrested and charged Friday with criminal sexual penetration of a child under 13, a first degree felony, two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor under 13, unclothed, a second degree felony, and bribery of a witness, a third degree felony

Attempts to communicate with Nunez were unsuccessful.
