Three Curry County employees have received certification as public officials, according to a release from the county.

Clerk Rosalie Riley, Construction and Safety Officer Ben Roberts and Appraiser Sam Kelley were honored in a Jan. 23 ceremony in Santa Fe conducted by the New Mexico EDGE County College.

The three were required to complete 18 three-hour courses approved in a certified public manager program and write an essay demonstrating the application of the competencies taught.
