• Special circumstance: The husband has recently lost his job, leaving the mother's income from house cleaning as the only income.

• Needs: Girls, 8 years old — a Monster High doll. She wears size 10 clothes and her shoe size is 2. Boy, 6- years old. Anything dealing with Batman. He wears size 7 clothes and his shoe size 13. Boy, 4 years old — Any toy dealing with Superman. He wears size 5 clothes and his shoe size is 11.

• Who’s helped: More than 220 families who’ve asked the Salvation Army to help make Christmas special.

• Donations: Clovis, can be dropped off at the CNJ, 521 Pile St., or mailed to P.O. Box 1689, Clovis, NM, 88102. Portales, can be dropped off at the PNT, 101 E. 1st St., or mailed to P.O. Box 848, Portales, NM, 88130. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Empty Stocking Fund.” Checks must be payable to The Salvation Army.

Contributions will be forwarded to the Salvation Army office, 317 E. Second St., Clovis, or gifts may be purchased for specific children under 12 years old by choosing an Angel tag off trees located at North Plains Mall, St. Clair Orthodontics and Hastings in Clovis.
