Clovis PD press release: Officers respond to bank robbery call

Clovis – On March 28, 2013 at about 1100 hrs the Clovis Police Department dispatch was notified of a Bank Robbery at the New Mexico Bank and Trust, 2200 N. Main St. in Clovis, NM.

Officers with the Clovis Police Department responded to the scene and determined the suspect had fled the area heading eastbound on foot.

Officers searched the surrounding neighborhood and spoke tonumerous citizens in the area, but the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as being a light skinned male possibly in his twenties, medium height, and slim build. The individual was wearing a green "hoodie" and had his face covered. The suspect demanded money.

No weapon was seen.

This case is currently being investigated by the Clovis Police Department's Special Operations Unit.
