Area road construction information for this week:
City of Clovis
- Beginning Monday, Lujan Communications will be doing cable work at Ash Street and Santa Fe Avenue and at North Oak and Maple Street. Most work in alleyways but some may be on the streets.
- Beginning Monday at 8 a.m., K. Barnett and Sons will start construction on Llano Estacado Blvd. The north side of the intersection will close the north side of the intersection. Westbound lanes will be open, traffic will run east and west. Seek an alternate route if possible.
Curry County
- Currently closed for the remainder of construction is Curry Road 7 from Curry Road R to Curry Road S. Also closed is Curry Road S from Curry Road 7 to US 60/84. Scheduled for completion May 1, 2012.
State of New Mexico
- Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., K. Barnett and Sons will be doing road construction on US 70 in Portales, from Bryan Avenue to Hwy 467.
