Good morning and welcome to the Friday briefing.

Stars shining

The Eastern New Mexico University Department of Theatre is hosting a student-run theatre lab 7 p.m. Saturday at the Studio Theatre in the University Theatre Center.

It is free and open to the public.

This open lab titled "Between the Lines" is a forum for work written, directed and acted by students. Each of the five pieces runs from seven to 15 minutes.

Kitchen tip
