Two face felony drug charges

Two Clovis residents face felony charges after a narcotics search warrant was executed at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday in Clovis, according to Curry County Undersheriff Wesley Waller.

According to Waller:

• Benjamin Selgado, 28, of 516 Gidding St., is being charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, felony possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Veronica Garcia, 24, of 516 Gidding St., is being charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Waller said marijuana and methamphetamine were seized from the residence, but said he did not know the quantity.

• A pit bull was seized by city of Clovis Animal Control after it tried to attack an officer.
