Suspect arrested in McDonald's theft

A man facing several felony and misdemeanor charges related to burglaries and thefts in Clovis has been arrested for breaking into the McDonald’s on Mabry Drive and taking a donation box valued at $75, according to Clovis Police Capt. Patrick Whitney.

Whitney said Alfred Sena, 34, of Clovis, was caught early Saturday a block from the Furrow's Home Lumber & Supply Co. on East First Street after the store’s security alarm sounded. Whitney said store video surveillance showed Sena breaking into the store.

Court documents indicate Sena is facing a total of three fourth-degree felony charges, including burglary, larceny and possession of burglary tools and five misdemeanor charges related to burglaries and thefts dating back to Nov. 27.

Sena is being held in Curry County jail.
