Meetings watch: County commission will consider endangered species listing

Roosevelt County commissioners will attend a special meeting at 5 p.m. today at the Hotel Santa Fe Library to discuss the following items with other county officials:

• Approval of resolutions listing the lesser prairie chicken and the dunes sagebrush lizard as endangered.
• A resolution changing the habitat range affected by endangered species listing.
