Recent cases in Roosevelt County Magistrate Court, according to court records:

April 4

• Christopher Rojo, born in 1986, pleaded guilty to resisting, evading and obstructing an officer, aggravated battery and driving while his license was suspended. Rojo was sentenced to 364 days in Roosevelt County Detention Center and $134 in fines and fees.

April 28

• Ezequiel Morales, born in 1983, pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Morales was sentenced to two days in jail with 88 days suspended, 364 days of supervised probation, DWI school, 24 hours of community service and $834 in fines and fees.

May 2

• Pedro Morales-Rocha, born in 1965, pleaded no contest to aggravated driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and having no driver’s license. Rocha was sentenced to two days in jail, 364 days of supervised probation, DWI school, 24 hours of community service and $652 in fines and fees.

• Raul Valenzuela, born in 1963, pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol with an open container. Valenzuela was sentenced to 364 days of supervised probation, DWI school, 24 hours of community service and $627 in fines and fees.

May 3

• Jeremy Thompson, born in 1986, plead guilty to driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Thompson was sentenced to 364 days of supervised probation, DWI school, the installation of an Ignition Interlock Device on all motor vehicles he drives, 24 hours of community service and $541 in fines and fees.

May 17

• Ismael Zuniga, born in 1972, pleaded guilty to battery on a household member. Zuniga was sentenced to two years of supervised probation with special conditions, the Batterers’ Intervention Program and $173 in fines and fees.

May 23

• Eusaquio Hartshorne. born in 1987, pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Hartshorne was sentenced to 364 days of supervised probation, DWI school, the installation of an Ignition Interlock Device on all motor vehicles he drives, 24 hours of community service and $241 in fines and fees.
