Eppler

Tate Eppler, an eighth- grader at Yucca Junior High, was the winner of the statewide junior high division at the 2010 New Mexico Youth Entrepreneur Business Plan Competition held during the Governors Entrepreneurial Summit in Albuquerque Oct. 14-15. His sponsor was Silvia Montano of ENLACE. His parents are Terry and Kym Moore of Clovis and Alan Eppler of Andrews, Texas.

Students were selected by judges to participate by submitting a formal business plan. This statewide competition provided a forum for middle and high school-aged youth from all parts of New Mexico to generate a feasibly business idea. The judge’s criteria included entrepreneurial spirit, business knowledge, presentation, feasibility and ease of implementation.
