The Clovis city commission will meet 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in special session at the north annex of the Clovis-Carver Public Library.
The commission will vote on an amendment to a lease agreement with Tierra Realty of Taos, which is renovating the Hotel Clovis into senior housing.
The realty company intends to apply for Housing and Urban Development HOME funding, but it needs to implement HUD environmental property approval requirements into the lease agreement with the city, which has owned Hotel Clovis since 1994.
