Thursday morning briefing: Cannon, water fights and who's on first

Good morning. It’s the Freedom New Mexico Thursday morning briefing.

Ideas sought

The Joint Land Use Study Committee is hosting a public meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Melrose Senior Center.

Members of the public will be asked to offer ideas on land used by both Cannon Air Force Base and the civilian community.

You can also comment on possible actions to protect the interests of both parties.

Information: Curry County Manager Lance Pyle at 763-6016.

Question of the day

Which fight is better ... water balloons or water guns?

Please feel free to take aim and share your ideas in the comment section below.

Kitchen tip of the week

Organize your recipes in a three-ring binder. Use dividers to group recipes of similar types into sections. Paste recipes onto notebook paper or put them in plastic page protectors with holes for binder rings.
