Wednesday morning briefing: Road rage, hunting rules and another hot one

Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Wednesday briefing.

Fair warning

A reminder from the city to avoid trying to travel east today on 21st from Prince Street.

Construction today is causing road closures and, very likely, a big traffic mess.

Proposed changes are available on the department website http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us./ under the “Issues and Answers” section.

Public meetings:

• Roswell: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Roswell Department of Game and Fish office, 1912 W. Second St.

• Tucumcari: 6-9 p.m. Aug. 17, Convention Center Liberty Room, 1500 W. Route 66 Blvd.
