Texas artist featured at CCC museum

The Eula Mae Edwards Museum and Gallery at Clovis Community College is currently hosting artwork of West Texas artist Cherine Marie.

The exhibit is through Aug. 31.

Marie is a self-taught artist and photographer who presents items in watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel and sculpture.

She is known for her feathered horse design that can be found on many of the merchandise items from the National Gypsy Cobb Horse Society shop.

Marie is president of the Watercolor Society of Amarillo and is a member of American Plains Artists, West Texas Watercolor Society, Moore County Art Association, Amarillo Pastel Society, and Amarillo Fine Arts Association.
