Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
All three Republican candidates for lieutenant governor are participating in a forum Thursday in Clovis organized by the High Plains Patriots.
President Kim Runyan said candidates John Sanchez, Kent Cravens and Brian Moore will be at the organization’s 7 p.m. meeting at the Masters Centre conference room.
A candidate forum will follow the meeting at 8 p.m.
Each candidate will get a two-minute opening statement and a three-minute closing statement. The rest of the hour-long forum will include questions from audience members.
Runyan said there is room for about 125 audience members, and a straw poll will be taken at the conclusion of the forum.
The event is free and open to the public.
