State police close I-40

New Mexico State Police have closed 1-40 eastbound from Tucumcari to the Texas state line.

Police also closed U.S. 54 from Tucumcari to the Texas state line due to the snow storm.

I-40 east and west bound out of Amarillo has been closed.
