Former DA court hearing scheduled Jan. 11

Former District Attorney Randall Harris will be arraigned in district court Jan. 11 on misdemeanor charges of domestic assault against his wife.

The case against Harris was moved from Curry County Magistrate to district court Dec. 17, according to court records.

Harris, 48, was charged Oct. 4 with misdemeanor battery against a household member and assault against a household member, a petty misdemeanor.

His wife, Traci, told police Harris threatened her and pushed her into a door during a dispute at their home.
