More charges added to airman's child porn case

The Curry County Sheriff re-arrested a Cannon Air Force Base airman Friday, charging him with an additional 100 counts of manufacturing child pornography.

Zebulon Benne, 24, was first arrested Aug. 5 and charged with 50 counts of sexual exploitation of children and 10 counts of manufacturing child pornography.

Sheriff’s investigators said while executing a search warrant at Benne’s residence, a preliminary scan of his computer revealed 50 images of children engaged in sexual acts. The computer was seized and another 50 were found during a complete forensic scan, according to the sheriff.

Benne is being held at the Curry County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bond.
