AeroCare boasts new helicopter at open house

AeroCare, which manages aviation and air medical services between Clovis and Lubbock, has scheduled an open house 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Clovis Municipal Airport.

The open house will allow the public to see Aerocare’s newest vehicle, the Bell 407 helicoptor. Flight crews will also be on hand, and hamburgers and hot dogs will be served.

Med-Trans Corporation purchased AeroCare, based in Lubbock, Texas, from Covenant Health Systems in August. The upgrade of helicopters was part of the ownership agreement.
