Tucumcari man sought for domestic violence offense

Quay County police are seeking a Tucumcari man they say fled police investigating a domestic violence call Friday night.

According to a press release from the Tucumcari Police Department, Moses Earl Ingram, 31, led police on a chase through the city and fled on foot after crashing a stolen vehicle.

Ingram has not been charged with a crime in connection to the reported incidents.

Ingram, who was in the Quay County Detention Center on charges of false imprisonment, battery of a household member and misdemeanor assault, was released July 21 for a two-week furlough ending Aug. 4, according to 10th Judicial District Court documents.

He was placed on house arrest and not allowed to leave a residence on South Fourth Street except from 1-6 p.m., according to court documents.

The female domestic violence victim, who was not named by authorities, was in the vehicle with Ingram during the pursuit.

She was admitted to Trigg Memorial Hospital, according to the release. Her care is ongoing.
