RGH installs clearer signs

Roosevelt General Hospital recently unveiled a new addition and this one is right at the front of the building.

The hospital and its adjacent clinic was adorned this week with blue-colored, white-trimmed identification over the front entrance of each in an effort to make it easier for visitors to walk into the right facility — the first time.

“The hospital is seven or eight years old and we’ve been wanting to do this project for a long time,” said Gay Weese, director of marketing at Roosevelt General. “There were other things we felt we had to put first and foremost. Finally, we felt like the timing was right.

“This helps identify the correct entrance for patients and everybody,” said Weese, who said the funding for the project came from the Roosevelt General Hospital Auxiliary. “So it’s a useful tool as well as aesthetically attractive.”
