Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
About 2 p.m. April 10 an officer responded to a business in the 2500 block of Mabry Drive for a vehicle theft.
A manager said a man rented a car in December and had not returned it.
He said several unsuccessful attempts were made by phone and mail to reach the man and he was told he had moved out of his residence.
The officer obtained a warrant for the man’s arrest.

About 4 p.m. Friday an officer was called to a school in the 1900 block of Thornton for a report of enticement of a child.
A 15-year-old girl said she was walking on 17th Street after school and a man stopped beside her in a vehicle, asking if she wanted a ride.
She said when she told him no and walked away, he called her back to the car and exposed himself to her. He then drove away.
She gave the officer a description of the suspect.
