Samplings of recent reports filed by Clovis-area law enforcement officers:

While investigating a report of gunshots fired in the 700 block of West Mañana at 2:50 a.m. Jan. 12, police stopped a vehicle with four men in it.

One of the men refused to obey police and attempted to run off. Police said the man appeared to throw something in the back yard of a nearby house, and found a handgun and clip with bullets.

Police arrested the 36-year-old man on charges of resisting, evading and obstructing an officer.

Police responded to a report of burglary, larceny and criminal damage at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at a residence in the 1000 block of Stanton Place.

The residents reported coming home to find a broken window and the front door unlocked.

Items missing included a Nintendo Wii system and games, and a Sony PSP game.

Value of the missing items was estimated at more than $900.

Damage was estimated at $150.

Police responded to a report of burglary and larceny at 3:56 p.m. Jan. 14 at a residence in the 900 block of Gidding Street.

The resident told police someone had entered his house earlier in the day, apparently through the back door, which had a broken lock.

Items reported missing included an X-Box 360 along with game controllers and a hard drive, 11 X-Box games, two laptop computers and a Sony PSP game.

Value of the missing items was estimated at more than $3,000.
