Jose Padilla, 76, of Portales died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at Laurel Plains Healthcare in Clovis.
He was born May 5, 1929, in Ecuandure, Michoacan, Mexico, to Estanislada Ayala and Diego Padilla.
He lived a large part of his life in Portales and had been a member of Los Abuelitos Senior Center.
Burial is in Portales Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Jr., James and Felicia Ortega, Amanda Montano, Matthew Brewer and Thomas Ervin
Arrangements are by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales.
