Friday's BRAC schedule

7:15 a.m.: The Pentagon’s Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) recommendations will first be distributed to members of Congress via e-mail.

8 a.m.: Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld will host a news conference at approximately 8:15 am which will broadcast over the internet at

www.pentagonchannel.mil.

Coverage on C-SPAN is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.

The Defense Department will publish all data used in the process at www.defenselink.mil/brac/ after the conference begins.
