Eugene Foster, 62 of Clovis, died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

He was born on May 17, 1942, in Coolie, Texas, to Otis and Arnetta Moore Foster.

He was a supervisor for the Head Start program in Albuquerque for 10 years. Family members said he loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Joe Lewis, Hayward Foster, and Jerry Foster.

Survivors include his parents; two daughters, Rene Hall of Lubbock and Eugena Smith of Clovis; three sons, Eugene Foster Jr. of Clovis, Eugene Foster II and Joseph Foster, both of Hobbs; three sisters, Pearl Bryant and Wilma Kay Cooper, both of Clovis, and Jean Chandler of Waco, Texas; and six grandchildren.

The Rev. R.L. Smith will officiate the services.

Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
