Weldon Olen King, 74, of Clovis, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at his home in Clovis.

He was born on July 21, 1930, in Peister, Texas, to Olen and Beatrice Hill King. He married Wilda Wiggins on May 24, 1955, in San Antonio. He has been the owner of Claiborne Refrigeration Company since April 1, 1974. He was a member of 16th and Pile Church of Christ, the Building Contractors Association, and a founding member of the Refrigeration Service Engineer Society in 1977. Family members said he loved to fish, camp and spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Patricia Gartner (and husband, Duane) and Phyllis Bryant (Mark), all of Clovis; a brother, J.C. Sutton (Nora) of New Braunfels, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kisty, Weldon, Casey, Karissa and Christian Gartner, and Phil and Derek Bryant; two great-grandchildren, Trisha and Dee-Dee Gartner; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sonny and Nancy Wiggins.

Father John Rollinson will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Weldon Gartner, Derek Bryant, Phil Bryant, Ricky Smith, Kenny Chancey and Shane McCurter.

Honorary pallbearers are his employees at Claiborne Refrigeration Company.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
