Barbara Ann Fuller, 71, of Fort Sumner, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1932, in McAdo, Texas, to George W. and Julia Beatrice Boren Shaw.

She was raised in Fort Sumner where she graduated from high school. She married Glenn E. Fuller on July 22, 1958, in South Carolina. They moved to Fort Sumner in 1980. She was an artist who enjoyed oil painting and ceramics. She taught ceramics at the Fort Sumner Senior Citizens Center. Family members said she enjoyed gardening, motorcycling and traveling across the United States.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter, Barbara Eileen.

Survivors include her husband; a step-son, Richard Fuller (and wife, Linda) of Orange, Calif.; a step-daughter, Debra Stefan of Henderson, Nev.; two brothers, George C. Shaw (Evelyn) and Robert M. Shaw, both of Clovis; and two grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
