Maggie Mae McIntosh, 85, of Hughes Springs, Texas, formerly of Texico, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, in Hughes Springs, Texas.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1918, in Knott County, Ky., to Dr. Davis and Mary Sheppard Fields.
She lived most of her life in Hazzard, Ky. She married Dewey McIntosh on Oct. 13, 1936. They moved to Dimmitt in 1967. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Texico. Family members said she loved being outside in her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and three children, Samuel Clay, Jamie and Gary Wayne McIntosh.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Faye Patterson (and husband, William) of Avinger, Texas, and America Jane Ross (J.R.) of London, Ky.; seven sons, Bobby McIntosh (Pat) of Breckenridge, Texas, Billy McIntosh (Vonnie) of Texico, Sonny McIntosh (Donna) of Dumas, Texas, James McIntosh of Amarillo, Earl McIntosh (Pat) of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jerry McIntosh (Shandra) and Larry McIntosh (Della), all of Farwell; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Castro Memorial Gardens in Dimmitt, Texas.
Arrangements are by Foskey-Littey-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt.
