GRADY — Jennifer Blackburn, Taris Pond and Stephanie Bailey all scored 16 points Friday night as Grady’s girls rolled to a season-opening 78-40 win over the Bovina Fillies.

The Lady Bronchos held Bovina (0-2) to just four second-quarter points in building a 40-16 halftime lead.

Aerial Verbel gave Grady four players in double figures with 10 points. Isabel Guevaro scored 13 points and Jessica Bachira added 12 for the Fillies.
