Mr. David Edmond Gonser, 85, of Farmington, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, in Farmington.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1917, in Buffalo, Okla.
He married Alta May Haun on Sept. 30, 1938, in Clovis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Jessie Gonser; one son, Corky Gonser; three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, May Gonser of Farmington; one daughter, Gwen “Pee-Wee” Lucero of Farmington; two sisters, Viva Laney of Clovis and Veda Foot of Laverne, Okla.; three grandsons, Mark Joplin and Terry Joplin, both of Farmington, and Larry Joplin of San Diego; and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Leroy Montoya officiated the services.
Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington.
Pallbearers were Shannon Haun, Corey Haun, Billy Milton, Billy Huish, Mark Joplin and Larry Joplin.
Arrangements were by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
