Frederick Meier

Services: Have been held.

Mr. Frederick Robert Meier, 62, of Texico, a farmer, died Monday, June 16, 2003, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 11, 1940, in Lubbock, to Frank R. and Mary Elizabeth Sawyer Meier.

He moved to Curry County in 1957. He was a member of the National Guard and Immanuel Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Frank Kenneth Meier.

He is survived by his mother; a sister, Valeria Smith of Clovis; two brothers, Ernest W. Meier of Centennial, Colo. and Gary L. Meier of Spring, Texas; two sons, Robert Meier of Portales and Timothy Meier (and wife, Tera) of Portland, Ore.; and a daughter, Teresa Meier of Minneapolis, Minn.

Scott Blazek will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Upton, Gus Meier, Richard Sawyer, Edsel Young, Carter Dubois and James Steward.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Fire Department.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
